Common questions about who we are, how our guides work, and what to expect from a consultation. For topic-specific questions, check the FAQ at the end of each guide.
About DubaiGoGo
No. We’re a privately owned, licensed company — not ICP, GDRFA, MOHRE, the FTA, or any other government body. See our full Disclaimer for what that means in practice.
Yes. Our trade licence number, issuing authority, and a copy of the licence itself are posted on our Licence & Credentials page, so you can verify us before booking anything.
Our guides are written by Sana Jamal, a 20-year UAE resident with an MSc in Finance, and reviewed by Salim Al Farsi, a certified PRO and visa consultant. Both are named on our Team page, and you’ll see their names on the byline and “Reviewed by” line of every guide.
Using Our Guides
Every guide is checked against official sources — ICP, GDRFA, MOHRE, or the FTA, depending on the topic — before publishing, and reviewed by a named, credentialed specialist. That said, guides cover the general case, not your specific situation. See our Disclaimer for the full picture.
We review guides whenever we become aware of a rule change, and each one shows a “Last verified” date near the top. If that date looks old, check the linked official source before relying on it.
Please tell us — contact us with the guide name and what looks wrong, and we’ll check it against the official source and update it.
Consultations & Payments
Pick a topic on our Book a Consultation page, pay securely, and we’ll confirm your session time by video call with Salim or another specialist.
No — a consultation gets you expert time and honest guidance, not a guaranteed outcome. Those decisions are made by the relevant government authority, not by us. Full detail in our Disclaimer.
Yes, within the terms set out in our Refund Policy — cancellations made more than 24 hours before your session are fully refundable or can be rescheduled free of charge.
Not at all — every guide on this site is free to read. A consultation is there for when your situation is complicated enough that a general guide isn’t enough on its own.
